Understanding the Navāṃśa Chart

The Navāṃśa, or D9 chart, is one of the sixteen classical divisional charts (ṣoḍaśavarga) described in Bṛhat Parāśara Horā Śāstra. While the Rāśi chart shows the raw material of a life, the Navāṃśa reveals how that material has been refined — the strength a planet truly carries once its promise is tested.
